This story begins with a touch of serendipity and an abundance of Amazing Grace.

In July 2012, Natasha contacted The Princeton Review for help with her GRE prep–in particular the dreaded subject of Math. Natasha’s file was assigned to Sri, who accepted the call unsuspectingly. Little did the two strangers know that God was at work in their lives!

From 2012 through 2016, the two bonded over their common interests: Academics, Arts, Classics, Fashion, Theology–and yes even Cars! Sri continued to help Natasha navigate through her graduate school career, while also mentoring her two kids in school. The two friends kept in touch off and on, but somehow lost touch between 2017 and 2019.

Until, once again, Math–or was it Cupid?–reeled them back together. After a lovely vacation to NYC, Natasha’s reality kicked in. Graduate Business School–O mon dieu! With Corporate Finance and Quantitative Analysis as her first classes, Natasha reached out for help immediately. Not wanting to open a door to the past, Sri assigned Natasha with one of his tutors, but the sheer rigor of her graduate classes was too much to handle. So Sri (reluctantly) stepped in to help the damsel in distress.

After just one semester together, Natasha and Sri rekindled their relationship. During the pandemic of 2020, they began to spend quality time with one another, bonding over Shark Tank and S&L, the Teahouse (gotta love that Boba!), movies (Sri’s favorite pastime), shopping (Natasha’s favorite pastime), and traveling wherever they could. Upon his father passing away in 2021, Sri’s relationship with Natasha grew even stronger–after all, when God closes one door He opens up another. Sri began to realize that this was the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with, and when Natasha warmed up to the thought of marriage Sri put some extra coals in the furnace.

Throughout 2022 and 2023, Natasha and Sri’s bond grew stronger as these two love birds fell more in love. They traveled all over the country–from Miami to New York to Los Angeles (with a drive up the PCH to San Francisco!)–and even made their first international trip to La Ville-Lumière, Paris. It was during this romantic trip Sri realized that 2023 would be THE year. And on August 18, 2023, on two nervous knees with quivering hands, Sri proposed to his soulmate Natasha at University of St. Thomas, their Alma Mater.

And the two lived Happily Ever After….
